Hello Lower and Upper Primary Parents,
We are excited to introduce our new transport system through
SchoolsBuddy! This platform will allow you to view and manage ASA and bus information conveniently in one place.
Starting
Monday, January 20, one-off bus change requests for
3PM dismissal can be submitted directly through the SchoolsBuddy app or SchoolsBuddy web portal for
Monday, February 3 and later. For one-off bus change requests during the week of
January 20, please continue using the
old system. The old transport system will be disabled on
Wednesday, January 22.
Important Changes and Notes:
- One-off Change Requests
- All one-off change requests must be submitted through SchoolsBuddy
- Requests can be submitted up to 21 days in advance.
- Requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance. Requests submitted less than 48 hours in advance will be rejected.
- One-off requests previously submitted in the old system are being migrated to SchoolsBuddy over the next two weeks.
- Alternative arrangements
- Permanent bus route changes should still be submitted to KCM directly
- For regular weekly changes across the whole term (e.g. every Monday of Term 2), please email bus@hkis.edu.hk to make this change. Regular weekly changes already submitted in the old system are being migrated to SchoolsBuddy over the next two weeks.
Key Dates:
- January 13:
- ASA events and registers were finalized.
- Bus transport events for Term 2 were initialized, seeding the bus events 21 days out (Febrauary 3)
- Transport information from now on will appear in your SchoolsBuddy diary for the next 21 days.
- January 20:
- New System Launch. Parents can start submitting 3PM one-off bus change requests for February 3 and beyond.
- February 3:
- Term 2 Activities Start. Full transition to the new transport system.
Action Required
Starting January 20, please check your SchoolsBuddy diary to confirm that your transport preferences are accurately listed for February 3 and beyond.
Note: Bus events displayed in the new SchoolsBuddy system for the week of January 20 are placeholders and should be ignored. These events do not reflect the finalized transport arrangements.
